SOME OF THE MANY WHO LEAD OUR COMMUNITY AT ST JAX
Graham was ordained in London (UK) within a special team designed to reopen closed churches and create urban community centres. He is married to Céline and they have 3 children: Hector, Léonie and Basil. It is with great joy that he has taken on the challenge to lead St Jax.
You can also follow him at grahamsingh.org or trinitycentres.org
Originally from Alberta, Curtis and his family (wife Marney, and three daughters), have lived in Montreal for the past two decades and continue to love this amazing city. As a pastor for over 25 years with experience in church-planting, teaching and music leadership, Curtis is thrilled to be part of the team at St. Jax.
Curtis is completing his MA in Theology at Concordia University, and also works part-time teaching Aviation English at the Saint-Hubert airport.
Marney is an energetic leader, born and raised in Alberta, who moved to Montréal in 2000 to church-plant with her husband, Curtis, and her three daughters, now grown. She excels in pastoral counselling, coordinating ministry events and programs, furnishing warm hospitality and welcome to contribute to convivial atmosphere of St. Jax.
Marney is currently acquiring training and certification as a life-coach to compliment her years of experience.
Mark began life as an atheist, and can tell you about being exposed as the only one in his Grade 2 class! He entered the church world in response to the beauty of nature, and responded to the transforming call of Jesus at an Anglican youth camp before he went to university. It, and later experiences in charismatic prayer groups, changed the direction of his life.
Many years supporting the work of his wife, an ordained clergy person, while he worked in a variety of sales and consulting positions, has given Mark a big smile and a warm heart for new visitors. He loves to watch the St Jax team of friendly faces as they show new people around and tell them about our congregation and its mission for the community.
Mark also loves learning from the experiences and wisdom of new people; he is looking forward to meeting you!
Mia is Alberta born but Montreal raised, and loves living in such a diverse city! She has a passion to see the creativity within people flourish and loves the way music can bring people together. Mia is currently studying at Concordia University and enjoys constantly learning new things! She's very excited about the things that are happening at St Jax and the things to come for Montreal!
